At the age of four is when she was first introduced to the entertainment industry. Jalía attended various modeling schools and was a signed to a local agency as an adolescent which kick started her career. Jalía was also a “military brat” and had the pleasure of traveling to exotic places such as Japan and Hawaii. In 1995 she returned to her hometown of Kalamazoo, Michigan and attended Western Michigan University where she studied Interpersonal Communications & Business Management.
